Bijou Junkie is live!
This project is a little gem that I have been lucky enough to work on with Hoot Marketing www.hootmarketing.co.uk
I was asked to come up with a logo, help with identity, produce printed stationery and setup an online store. The result is simple, fashionable, clean identity and an easy and enjoyable website that the owner and director loves. The website itself is a Big Cartel site…The Big Cartel system works. I have to say I quite like it for simple e-commerce sites and for small businesses. More than likely you will have to pay an extra $80 for a few layout upgrades and WORD OF WARNING if you do this – you will have to manually alter all colours throughout the site. If you are new to this – it could take you a few hours to sort out. But relatively simple to setup and the result is a nice neat online shop. Easy to manage, maintain and edit. Design and layout are rigid but convenience is so often king these days.
This was one of those projects that proves just how beneficial it can be to meet the client. The combination of a mood board and a face to face meeting was enough to give me an insight as to what was needed and wanted. After just a couple of hours we had our logo. This may be a very quick process and you might even go as far as to think it was rushed. You’d be wrong – it was just right…and when you know its right – why look further?
Sometimes it all just fits and works…I try and make a habit of this. Not rushing the work…just getting it right quickly. Therefore saving you money.
