Approached by an old client who had turned project manager for The UK Harbour Masters Association – Tom O’Boyle Designs were asked to re-design and re-skin the existing website with some additional functionality included. The site needed to be extremely professional and also VERY easy to navigate and use for the members who are extremely varied in age and technical capability. We were lucky enough to be provided with an array of images, supplied by harbours around the UK from Portsmouth to Aberdeen. We then set about creating a simple, professional and also sleek website which allowed members to logon, access their information and chat in the forum to share experience and knowledge. The website also needed to represent the many different types of Harbours found on our coastline around the country.
